Bishop Ray became Bishop of Stephen Ray Ministries - India in 2006. He started an orphan home in Kakinada India under the direction of Pastor David Kumar. At the same time Pastor David Kumar brought his church under the covering of Bishop Ray. In 2008 Bishop Stephen Ray took over a church in Florissant, MO and named it Family Fellowship Worship Center. In 2014 they moved and rebranded to F.I.T. Ministries and opened the F.I.T. Church inside of F.I.T. Martial Arts.

Over the years several churches in India came under his covering of Stephen Ray Ministries in India. In 2019 Bishop Ray renamed the India Churches to Freedom of Faith Ministries. By 2020 we grew to 30 churches in India and 30 Orphans.

In 2024 Bishop Stephen Ray Married Pastor Mwansa Kabanda from Zambia, Africa.

Pastor Mwansa Kabanda Ray is a highly anointed preacher from the Pentecostal Assemblies of God with a large following in Zambia.

Pastor MWansa has written several books including Love Across Borders.

Bishop and Pastor Ray are now working in Ministry together and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. ​

​In September 2025 they started Cable TV Ministry and are potentially reaching over 200 Million People through the airwaves. .
